The WVU baseball team (27-20, 11-10 Big 12) dropped a close game to Penn State (15-32, 2-16 Big Ten), 6-5. It's the fourth one-run game for the Mountaineers. Both teams will resume the series Wednesday at PNC Park in Pittsburgh. First pitch is set for 7:00 PM ET.

The WVU men's soccer team played its first match during its tour of Spain on Tuesday, falling to FC Sevilla 1-0 at La Ciudad Deportiva training grounds in Seville. The 10-day trip continues with training in Seville.

WVU lost the second game of their doubleheader, 4-3. The Mountaineers drop to 26-19 and 10-10 in Big 12 play. The loss ensured the third straight series loss for West Virginia. The series finale will take place on Sunday at 1:00 PM ET.

The WVU baseball team dropped game one of Saturday's doubleheader with the sixth-ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders 1-0. The Mountaineers drop to 26-18 and 10-9 in the Big 12. The second game of the doubleheader will be at 7:15 PM ET.

Dana Holgorsen had some pretty awesome things to say at the Mountaineer Athletic Club's Coach's Caravan last night in Parkersburg. His Mountaineers will take on Virginia Tech (who has no damn chance) on Sunday, September 3 at FedEx Field in Hyattsville, MD. The game will air at 7:30 PM ET on ABC.

WVU baseball (25-17, 10-8 Big 12) has had another setback, dropping their second Big 12 series in a row, this time to the Oklahoma Sooners (30-16, 8-7 Big 12). The Mountaineers look to rebound this week by hosting Eastern Michigan on Tuesday, and taking on No. 8 Texas Tech in Morgantown this weekend.
