In a move that has been widely known for a while, West Virginia Mountaineers wide receiver Cortez Braham, who earlier in the season announced he would be “self-redshirting”, announced on Twitter his intention to enter the transfer portal.
First, I would like to thank God for the opportunity to play on one of the biggest stages in college football, because without Him none of this would be possible.
Next, I want to thank West Virginia football and the rest of the staff for the amazing opportunity to play at one of my dream schools. I will forever be grateful.
Most importantly, I would like thank my family and friends for being there for me every step of the way. After talking to my family and doing a lot of praying, I will be entering my name in the transfer portal as a grad transfer with 1 year of eligibility.
Braham in two years with the Mountaineers caught 17 passes for 164 yards and 0 touchdowns.
