A familiar sight, the West Virginia Mountaineers wearing their Blue-White-Blue combination. This is one of my favorite combinations and a great road combination. The Mountaineers have worn this combination now 9 previous times and had been fairly successful in this combo, riding a four-game winning streak before 2019. Starting with the Cactus Bowl victory over the Arizona State Sun Devils and head coach Todd Graham, the Mountaineers then rattled off wins against Kanas then Tennessee and Texas in the same year (2018).
The Oklahoma Sooners traditionally break out their “alternate” uniforms against the Mountaineers, which consists of wearing a cream color in lieu of bright white. So original.

Given the Sooners are at home you can most likely expect some version of the 2019 uniforms, Crimson-Crimson-Cream. Either way, it will still look awful.
