HERE
WE
GO.
It’s game time. Finally, after all of the summer heat and the ‘rona and the masks, we’re here. We finally have some game uniforms and we get to be excited because we’re playing Maryland and to be honest, I’m stoked we have the white pants. I’m a fan of the blue-blue-white and love the crispness of the look. The Mountaineers play quite well in this outfit going 5-2 in this combination. The last time they played in it, they one-offed the helmet with the American Flag decal and beat the ever-living-snot out of TCU 24-6.
(Editor’s Note: I’m a total idiot and did multiple articles last year as THREAT ALERT. I blame my watching of the Office and my total love of THREAT LEVEL MIDNIGHT)
As far as the ‘Terps go, the Mountaineers have never worn this specific combination against the Turtles but have worn B/W/B in the infamous 2013 shutout game at M&T Bank Stadium. Side note - I was at that game and was miserable. It’s still the worst game I’ve ever attended.
In 2014 they wore G/B/G and won in a thrilling 37-34 game and in 2015 they absolutely shellacked Randy Edsall’s team in a Blue-Gold-Gold combination.
Maryland on the other hand is going old-school with the script Terps helmets. Hopefully they play like Twerps.

WVU crushes TCU 34-10
Not B/B/W but who can forget absolutely dumping Maryland 15 minutes in?
