West Virginia senior golfer Mark Goetz has been selected to compete as an individual at the NCAA Golf Regional. Goetz is the first NCAA individual qualifier in school history and will play 54 holes against nine other individuals in the regional.

Four members of the West Virginia golf team were named to the 2021 Academic All-Big 12 Men’s Golf Team.
Former West Virginia pitcher John Means became the 10th pitcher in Baltimore Orioles history to throw a no-hitter when he blanked the Seattle Mariners 6-0. Means struck out 12 batters and completed the no-hitter on his 113th pitch. It was the first solo no-hitter for a Baltimore pitcher in 52 years.
Consensus All-American defensive tackle Darius Stills signed with the Las Vegas Raiders and wide receiver T.J. Simmons signed with the defending world champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers to lead the former West Virginia football players finding spots in the NFL after the draft.

The Baylor men’s basketball team has announced that Dale Bonner has signed with the Bears after leading Division II Fairmont State in scoring, assists, and steals in each of his past two seasons.
