West Virginia University just released the television schedule and kickoff times for the first three games of the 2021 football season and we have to deal with a noon kickoff against the (c)Hokies. Sigh
Mark those calendars #TrustTheClimb

The Mountaineers will start the 2021 season with a 3:30 kickoff against their rival Maryland Terrapins at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium (capitalism naming rights FTW!) on Saturday, September 4.
The Mountaineers will then play their one “gimme” game against Long Island University on September 11 with a 5:00 PM kickoff to be televised on ESPN+. Commence complaints.
The final out-of-conference game will be against the hated Virginia Tech Hokies on September 18 and features a NOON kickoff on FS1. FS1 has made it a point to put their best games on at noon so it isn’t a surprise that we will be playing then, but a noon kick against Virginia Tech just doesn’t feel right. This isn’t a rivalry that deserves to see daylight. It is best played at night.
