PREDICTION THAT WILL BE WRONG
First of all, I just want to say that it should be criminal to have the premier game in the Big 12 and maybe of the entire day behind a paywall. With that said, onto the prediction...
The last time these two teams played, we saw West Virginia explode in the second half for 51 points and still come up short to the Sooners. That’s not going to be the case today. As I said in my Texas Tech prediction on Tuesday, this team is really hitting their stride at the perfect time. It wouldn’t surprise me if this one turns into a double-digit win for the Mountaineers, but I’ll hedge my bet a bit.
West Virginia leads for all but a handful of minutes today. McBride and Culver look stellar once again, but it’s Jalen Bridges that will be the next Mountaineer to turn in a career high performance.
West Virginia 78, Oklahoma 73
