The West Virginia Mountaineers enter a pivotal game when they travel to Waco, Texas to take on the Baylor Bears. Sitting at 2-3, the Mountaineers are looking for a “get right” game and they’ve chosen a uniform that, well, hasn’t been much of a get-right look. There is a but. But, it is also the uniform they wore when they upset then #24 Kansas State Wildcats with a new quarterback under center. The 2019 season was Neal Brown’s first as the head coach of the Mountaineers and with his starting quarterback struggling, Neal switched quarterbacks, from Oklahoma transfer Austin Kendal, to Bowling Green transfer Jarret Doege. Doege would engineer an upset as he lead the Mountaineers back from a 20-14 deficit to a 24-20 win. Doege had maybe his best game as a Mountaineer that day, going 20-30 for 234 yards and 3 touchdowns. Will these uniforms help Doege remember who he was that day and see him right the ship against the Bears?
