It took all of the first play of the 2020 season and Leddie Brown had a longer run than anyone did in 2019. Brown opened the game with a 38-yard inside run that immediately set the tone for the West Virginia Mountaineers.
Three plays later, Brown matched his rushing touchdown total from 2019 with the first touchdown of the 2020 season.
After a punt by Eastern Kentucky, the Mountaineers took a methodical approach to the second drive. Quarterback Jarret Doege completed 7 of 8 passes and his last was a 14-yard swing pass to Leddie Brown in the flat who scored his second touchdown of the season.
The problem as I see it is you’ve got Leddie Brown and Jarret Doege and only one Heisman to give.— Jθedy McCreary (@JoedyMcCreary) September 12, 2020
