Folks, we’re just a few weeks away from the hopeful start of the 2020 West Virginia Mountaineers football season. Despite the uncertainty around college football, the 16th annual College Colors Day holiday will take place on Friday, Sept. 4 (Labor Day Weekend), which means it’s also time get your gameday gear ready.

In each of the last three seasons, Nike has dropped some WVU-themed shoes (2017, 2018, 2019) for Mountaineer fans to show their support for our team, and they’re back again with another nice pair.

Delivering the same fit and feel that runners love, the shoe has an all-new forefoot cushioning unit and foam for optimal responsiveness. This year’s shoe features an all new midsole, with springy React foam instead of Cushlon ST and a forefoot air unit—a pocket of air within the midsole. The upper is a textile mesh that’s a bit thinner than the previous perforated mesh, and the flywire has been replaced with a midfoot band for increased stability. The outer heel is adorned with the Flying WV.

If you’re wondering when and where you can get these amazing shoes, you don’t have to look any further.

NOTE: This shoe is available for men and women as a unisex shoe.
