West Virginia head coach Neal Brown said that July 13th will be the official return date for WVU staff and players to the Milan Puskar Center. Coach Brown also said that he is still evaluating transfer prospects and will continue to do so right up until the start of fall training camp.

West Virginia senior Brianna Lynch has been selected for the 2020 All-Big 12 Volleyball Preseason Team. Lynch, who plays middle blocker for the Mountaineers, will hope to help her team improve this year, after WVU finished the 2019 season with a 12-17 record.
The West Virginia men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams have been named Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for their success in the classroom during the 2020 spring semester. The award recognizes college swimming and diving teams that achieve a cumulative semester GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Eight members of the West Virginia rowing team were honored by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association as Scholar-Athletes for 2020.
Most of the 60-man player pools for this year’s Major League Baseball season have been announced and five former West Virginia players have earned roster spots so far. They are Alek Manoah with the Toronto Blue Jays, John Means for the Baltimore Orioles, Michael Grove with the Dodgers in Los Angeles, David Carpenter with the Cincinnati Reds, and Ryan McBroom for the Royals in Kansas City.
