Four Mountaineers Selected as CSCAA All-Americans

Four members of the West Virginia men’s swimming and diving team were selected to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America All-America Team. Junior David Dixon, redshirt sophomore Jacob Cardinal Tremblay, sophomore Nick Cover, and freshman Hunter Armstrong were selected to the All-America team.

Fairmont native David Carpenter opens 14th season in professional baseball

West Virginia’s David Carpenter was selected by St. Louis Cardinals in the 12th round of the 2006 Draft. Carpenter is now with the Cincinnati Reds and he hopes to earn a spot on the opening day roster in the bullpen.

40 Named to CSCAA All-America Team

A combined 40 swimmers and divers from the Big 12 Conference were named to the College Swimming & Diving Coach Association of America All-America Team for the 2019-20 season. Texas led the conference with 34 selections, and 23 of them came from the top-ranked men’s team.
