THE ENEMY

Where are they from? West Point, New York

Series History: The series between the West Virginia Mountaineers and Army Black Knights started in 1941 with a 7-6 Black Knights win in West Point, New York. The second game took place in 1946, also in West Point with the Black Knights winning, 19- 0. The last meeting took place in West Point in 1961 with West Virginia winning, 7-3, to post its first win over Army and cut the Black Knights’ series lead to 2-1.
