Stills and Smith named to AP All-America teams
West Virginia senior defensive lineman Darius Stills and sophomore Tykee Smith were named to the Associated Press All-America First and Third teams, respectively. Stills adds this honor to being named Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the Year, a Big 12 All-Defense First Team member, and first-team All-American honors by ESPN, USA Today, and Bleacher Report.
Addae announces he will return to WVU
West Virginia’s second-leading tackler will be back for another season in Gold and Blue. Redshirt senior safety Alonzo Addae announced on Christmas Eve that he will use his extra year of eligibility and return for the 2021 season.

Huggins hopes young players can contribute as Northeastern visits Tuesday
In their 7-2 start, the Mountaineers have not been able to get many minutes for their younger players. Only in the 87-71 win over Richmond was West Virginia able to get out to a large lead in the first half. WVU is hoping to get its younger players some in-game experience against 1-4 Northeastern.
