West Virginia Mountaineers: Emmitt Matthews Jr, Oscar Tshiebwe, Derek Culver, Sean McNeil, and Miles McBride

Kansas Jayhawks: David McCormack, Jalen Wilson, Ochai Agbaji, Marcus Garrett, and Christian Braun

Oscar Tshiebwe will be the key to this game for the Mountaineers. If he’s able to dig deep down and unleash his inner kaiju — which I think he will — Kansas is in trouble. The sophomore has been unimpressive thus far, but has a perfect opportunity to show up and show the world that the hype is deserved.

It’s going to be a nail-biter for the entire 40 minutes, but West Virginia squeaks by with a last second three pointer from Miles McBride and gets their first ever win inside The Phog.

West Virginia 70, Kansas 67
