Four West Virginia football players were named to the 2020 All-Big 12 Second Team: Alonzo Addae, Michael Brown, Akheem Mesidor and Winston Wright Jr. In total, seven Mountaineers were honored in the season-ending Big 12 awards.

Alonzo Addae, DB, Senoir
Addae notched 61 tackles on the season, tied for second on the team and picked off two passes.
Michael Brown, OL, Senior
The senior offensive lineman played in all nine games for WVU. His three-year Mountaineer career finished with 23 total games played.
Akheem Mesidor, DL, Freshman
Mesidor is the only non-senior Mountaineer to be officially lauded by the Big 12 this season. He led the team in sacks with five and finished 2020 with 29 tackles, 6.5 of those for loss.
Winston Wright Jr., WR, Sophomore
Wright finished with three touchdown catches in 2020, tied for most on the team despite missing the Texas Tech game. He tallied 104 yards receiving on three catches against Kansas State.
