West Virginia men’s basketball knew it would be changing its Thanksgiving Week travel plans from The Bahamas to South Dakota. In addition, the tournament changed names and sponsors for the 2020 edition.
The Bad Boy Mowers Crossover Classic will be played November 25-27 in Sanford Pentagon, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This will be the season-opening tournament for WVU and the seven other teams involved. All games will be broadcast on ESPN networks.
WVU will play Texas A&M in its opening game on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 2 p.m. The Mountaineers are in the top half of the double-sided bracket with Ohio State and Memphis. The winners of the first matchups will play each other and the losers will then play each other. The first game determines your path in the bracket without re-entry to the path to the championship.
The bottom half to the bracket contains Creighton, Utah, Dayton and Wichita State.
In total, each team will play three games across three days of play.
