PROBABLE STARTERS
Based on previous game’s starters
West Virginia Mountaineers: Emmitt Matthews Jr., Oscar Tshiebwe, Derek Culver, Jermaine Haley and Jordan McCabe
Texas Tech Red Raiders: TJ Holyfield, Kyler Edwards, Terrence Shannon, Jahmi’us Ramsey, and Davide Moretti
HOW AFRAID SHOULD WE BE (ON A SCALE OF 1-10)?
Eight. While I’m fully confident in this squad, which is a stark contrast to last year’s team, I’m also aware that they could easily fall into another one of those games where their offense is just dreadful and their defense can’t bail them out. Statistically, these two teams are pretty even, with the Red Raiders only real advantage coming in assists per game. Prepare for another Big East style brawl.
PREDICTION THAT WILL BE WRONG
West Virginia continues to grit and grind their way through their schedule with another impressive team performance. Oscar gets another double-double, and Jordan McCabe has his best game of the season.
