• The series between West Virginia Mountaineers and Kansas Jayhawks started in 1941 with a 21-0 WVU win in Morgantown. The last meeting also took place in Morgantown with West Virginia winning 38-22. The Mountaineers lead the series, 7-1.
• WVU has nine sacks on the year, ranking No. 1 in the Big 12 Conference and No. 25 nationally.
