Appy Appy Appy Appy Tigers Yall! You know I love these. My single favorite road uniforms we wear, nothing looks better on the West Virginia Mountaineers than gold lids, white unis and gold pants. Give me that one-off and give me the defensive effort that comes with it. When the Mountaineers have worn this combination, they play like a championship defense. In fact, they have only lost once in this combo, back in 2017 when the referees thought David Sills getting grabbed by TCU cornerback constituted OFFENSIVE pass interference.
The Mountaineers have worn this combo before in Kansas, all the way back in 2015. In 2015, the Mountaineers went into Lawrence near the end of the season and shutdown and shutout the Jayhawks 49-0. Say what you want about the competition, but a shutout of a Power 5 team is a shutout nonetheless.
