The draft night disappointment didn't last long for Sagaba Konate, with the Athletic's Michael Scotto reporting that West Virginia's all-time leading shot blocker has secured a deal to join the World Champion Toronto Raptors as an undrafted free agent.

Sags will have to fight for a roster spot in Toronto, but it's not hard to imagine him earning one. NBA teams like to fill their benches with players who can provide at least one elite skill, and though Sags lacks ideal size, his ability to protect the rim while still providing a bit of floor spacing (39% from 3 last year) should fit well in the modern NBA.
