The West Virginia Mountaineers know four starting times for their games against the Missouri Tigers, N.C. State Wolfpack, Baylor Bears and TCU Horned Frogs.
The Mountaineers will play at Missouri starting at noon on ESPN. This will be the first road game of the Neal Brown era and is a continuation of a series that started in 2016 when the Mountaineers thrashed Missouri 26-11. The score wasn’t that close.
September 14th, the Mountaineers will host NC State at noon. This is the game that Hurricane Florenced cancelled last year when the storm made landfall in North Carolina and dumped over 30 inches of rain near the coast and almost 10” in Raleigh where NC St plays. This time the Wolfpack will travel to Morgantown.
The Mountaineers will play Baylor at 8 PM on Halloween in Baylor. Baylor has been a house of horrors for the Mountaineers under former coach Dana Holgorsen. Can Neal Brown change the outcome?
The season finale will be at 3:30 PM in Fort Worth against the TCU Horned Frogs. TCU looked to be done last year, sitting at 3-5 before finishing 7-6. Gary Patterson has a history of keeping his team in contention, will the Mountaineers be playing spoiler or for something more when this game shows up?
