BREAKING: JUCO Taz Sherman Commits to WVU

Bob Huggins gets another piece to the puzzle for the 2019-20 Mountaineers

Neal Brown wasn’t the only coach to get some good news today, West Virginia Mountaineers basketball coach Bob Huggins got news that Taz Sherman has committed to the Mountaineers. Taz, the 4th leading scorer in junior college, was choosing between WVU, Utah and SMU.

Sherman averaged 25.9 points, 4.8 assists and 4.8 rebounds for Collin County (Texas) Community College. He shot 39 percent from 3-point range and 87 percent at the foul line, averaging seven free-throw attempts per game

This commitment comes on the heels of another JUCO shooting guard Sean McNeil. Huggins also added 5-star Oscar Tschiebwe and Miles McBride out of high school.
