The West Virginia Mountaineers finally dropped the official images of the new Nike uniforms that will kick start the Neal Brown era at WVU and the uniforms are fantastic. Gone are the pick-axe numbers that were a dividing line between fans. Also gone is the gold lids that were a personal favorite of mine. After the initial reveal, Karl Joseph came out to unveil the re-debut of grey uniforms.
The uniforms were debuted with a video tribute during half time of the 2019 Spring Game. The video was narrated by former Mountaineer and current coach Jamaile Addae.
Great video production for this jersey intro. Great narration by @Coach_Addae to set such a great backdrop as well. #HailWV pic.twitter.com/OLkcnXc1cF

After players walked out with the uniforms, two former Mountaineers, Karl Joseph and Rasheed Marshall came out with grey uniforms. The grey uniforms have blue numbers with a gold outline, which is different than the other uniforms where the numbers are not outlined.

Outside of the debut of the grey and the number change, there isn’t a major change for the uniforms. The team has two lid choices: Blue and White, Four Jersey and Pant choices: Blue, White, Gold, and Grey. This gives the team 32 options to choose from.
