Neal Brown picked up his second commitment of West Virginia’s 2020 recruiting class this afternoon when Tallahassee, Florida native Garrett Greene announced his plans to join the Mountaineers as part of Brown’s first official signing class.

The Tallahassee-Chiles H.S. signal caller visited Morgantown this past weekend for Junior Day and fell in love. In an interview with EerSports/247’s Chris Anderson, Greene noted that “As soon as [he] got on campus, it felt like home.”
Greene is currently rated as a three-star dual-threat quarterback by 247Sports and ESPN, and has yet to receive a rating from Rivals. He chose West Virginia over offers from TCU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Georgia Tech, among others. Brown and quarterbacks coach Sean Reagan were the first to offer Greene during his time at Troy, and the relationship obviously carried over in their move to Morgantown.
