The West Virginia Mountaineers (10-13, 2-8) have now lost their last three conference road games by a combined 87 points, with tonight’s humiliating 31 point loss to the No. 18 Texas Tech Red Raiders in Lubbock.

The Mountaineers went 20+ minutes without a made field goal en route to tying their worst point differential of the season, finishing the night 23% from the field.

The loss comes hot off the heels of West Virginia’s win in Morgantown over the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday, which makes this even more maddening.

Congratulations to Derek Culver for recording his 5th double-double of the season.

West Virginia returns to action on Saturday when they take on the Texas Longhorns in Morgantown. That game tips off at 8:00PM EST and will be broadcast on ESPN2.
