Oh, good, another game.
In their first game in the post-Esa Ahmad era, the West Virginia Mountaineers (10-14, 2-9 Big 12) travel to Lawrence, Kansas this afternoon to take on the No. 14 ranked Kansas Jayhawks (19-6. 8-4 Big 12).
The last meeting between these two teams ended with a last second bucket by Jermaine Haley to give the Mountaineers a one point win in Morgantown, one of their only two conference wins this season. Can West Virginia perform a miracle and do it again in Lawrence? Doubtful, but if this is the year we get a win in Kansas, we’re claiming a National Championship and there’s nothing the NCAA can do to stop us.
