Neal Brown and the West Virginia Mountaineers continue to make a push for the 2020 recruiting class with signing day only three days away. Today, the coaches got a big commitment from Jordan White, a 3-star offensive lineman from DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Maryland. White was once committed to his hometown Maryland Terrapins but decommitted and the bond created by the West Virginia coaches helped secure Jordan and ensure he would be a Mountaineers.
The class now stands at 16 commits and ranks 44th nationally and 8th in the Big 12. White is the fourth offensive lineman in the class. The class holds an average rating of 0.8631, which is 0.0009 less than the stellar class of 2018. The coaches can only take 22 commitments with this class after Jarret Doege, Josh Growden and Reuben Jones were classified as part of the 2020 class.
