Online Streaming: Today’s game will be streamed across multiple platforms for users outside of the AT&T SportsNet viewing footprint. The stream will be available on WVUsports.com and the WVU Gameday App. Additionally, fans will be able to tune in live via Roku and Apple TV by searching for the “MountaineerTV” channel on each device.

The online stream will be blacked out inside the AT&T SportsNet viewing area. So, pretty much everyone in the state.

GAME NOTES

  • WVU won the 2019 Cancun Challenge earlier this week. Oscar Tshiebwe was named MVP, while Miles McBride was named to the All-Tournament Team. WVU defeated Northern Colorado, Boston U., Northern Iowa and Wichita State.
  • WVU is off to its best start since the 2015-16 and 2014-15 seasons when the Mountaineers started 7-0 in each season.
  • West Virginia, a former member of the Atlantic 10, and Rhode Island will meet for the 34th time on the court. Last year, the two teams met in Uncasville, Connecticut, with the Rams winning, 83-70. The last meeting in Morgantown took place in the 2004 NIT with WVU winning, 79-72. WVU and Rhode Island met every season from 1981 until 1995 during Atlantic 10 play
