The #1 West Virginia rifle team concluded the fall portion of the season with its seventh consecutive win, defeating #11 Navy on Saturday afternoon. The Mountaineers will continue the season in January.

The West Virginia women’s soccer team ended its 2019 campaign in the third round of the NCAA Tournament after falling to Washington State, 3-0, on Sunday. The Mountaineers finished the year with a 12-8-2 record.

The West Virginia men’s soccer team fell to 11th seeded Marshall, 2-1, in the NCAA Tournament Second Round on Sunday afternoon. The Mountaineers finished the 2019 season 10-9-2.

Iowa State sophomore guard Ashley Joens picked up her first career Big 12 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week accolade. Freshman of the Week went to Kansas State forward Ayoka Lee.
