This will be the first home noon game since September, when the Mountaineers hosted N.C. State.
WVU is on a five-game win streak over TTU, and an overall 6-2 record. The Red Raiders won the first two matchups in Big 12.
This is also the first time WVU head coach Neal Brown will face TTU since he was the offensive coordinator there, 2010–2012.
This is the first time Red Raider head coach Matt Wells has faced WVU in his time as a head coach or coordinator. Wells last met the Mountaineers as a QBs coach at Louisville in 2009.
