Tevin Bush Enters Transfer Portal

Bush is gone...and not for a touchdown

NCAA Football: West Virginia at Texas Bethany Hocker-USA TODAY Sports

West Virginia Mountaineers running back Tevin Bush has informed head coach Neal Brown that he will use his redshirt this season and will enter the transfer portal. If you are unfamiliar with the transfer portal, this now means that any school in the country can contact Bush and Bush will be allowed to decide where he chooses to play football next season, including staying at West Virginia.

Brown, during his press conference, informed everyone that he met with Bush and Bush made the decision to preserve his redshirt and will enter the portal. This does not mean that Bush is gone, but Brown did say, “He wants to play closer to home.” Bush hails from New Orleans, Louisiana.

Bush, a halfback who has been used both as a running back and a slot receiver, has 6 receptions for 95 yards and a touchdown. He caught 4 passes in 2017 and 14 passes in 2018 for 209 yards.
