Austin Kendall is “Questionable” For Oklahoma

West Virginia quarterback Austin Kendall is currently questionable for WVU’s upcoming game at #5 Oklahoma. The Mountaineers had Jack Allison step in at quarterback when Kendall left the Iowa State game, and Allison will likely start this week if Kendall is unavailable.

With a reloaded roster, WVU women’s hoops has sights on NCAA Tournament return

The West Virginia women’s basketball team is making improvements on the roster, adding six new players to the roster, both upperclassmen and underclassmen. This helps head coach Mike Carey and his team with their depth issues from last year, but the newcomers will need to get their experience the hard way.

Mountaineers Rank No. 1

The second College Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) Poll of the season is out, and the #1 West Virginia rifle team remains at the top. WVU is currently 1-0, after defeating #11 Nebraska in the season opener.

WVU Breaks from Conference Play

The West Virginia volleyball team is visiting Morehead State in a nonconference match that will be streamed on ESPN+. The Mountaineers are currently 9-8 overall, with a 1-4 record in Big 12 conference play.

Baylor, Iowa State and Oklahoma Honored in Week 7

The Big 12 weekly football awards have been announced. #5 Oklahoma’s CeeDee Lamb was named the Offensive Player of the Week and Kenneth Murray was named the Defensive Player of the Week. Special Teams Player of the Week went to Baylor kicker John Mayers. Iowa State’s Breece Hall and Oklahoma’s Jalen Hurts shared Newcomer of the Week honors.

Dotson & Moretti Named Bob Cousy Award Candidates

Devon Dotson of Kansas and Texas Tech’s Davide Moretti have been selected as two of the 20 watch list candidates for the 2020 Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Award. This season there will be fan voting for the award.
