Following a public shaming, the Oklahoma Sooners have allowed quarterback Austin Kendall to transfer to the West Virginia Mountaineers. Following this announcement, ESPN’s Jake Trotter broke that Kendall will indeed transfer to the Mountaineers. 247Sports’ Chris Anderson has confirmed the report and says Kendall will enroll in Morgantown on Thursday.
Kendall will be immediately eligible as a graduate transfer and will have two years of eligibility remaining. This will give new head coach Neal Brown two four-star, blue chip quarterbacks to develop for the 2019 season. Stay tuned for additional updates and information.
