The Big 12 Conference announced today that the West Virginia-Kansas football game on Saturday, Oct. 6, in Morgantown, will kick off at noon EDT and air on ESPN2 or ESPNU. This is WVU’s annual Homecoming game and a Gold Rush event.

The exact broadcast channel will be decided the week prior to the game.

Last season, the Mountaineers (3-0, 1-0) came away from Lawrence with a 56-34 victory, a game that saw the Jayhawks (2-2, 0-1) run for 367 yards. WVU is 6-1 against KU, and holds a four game win streak in the series.

This will be the third conference game for both teams, as WVU travels to Texas Tech and KU hosts Oklahoma State on Saturday, Sept. 29.
