After avoiding the early time slot for the first four games of the season, West Virginia will kickoff against Texas Tech at noon EDT for the game on Saturday, Sept. 29, in Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock, Texas. This means the game will actually kickoff at 11 a.m. local time.

The Mountaineers and Red Raiders will show on either ESPN2 or ESPNU. This will be the second conference game for both teams. WVU hosts Kansas State and Texas Tech travels to Oklahoma State this Saturday, Sept. 21.

WVU holds a 5-2 record in the series and have won four in a row. The last meeting in Lubbock resulted in a 48-17 win for the Mountaineers, who held Pat Mahomes to 304 passing yards and one touchdown, and forced an interception.
