Hurricane Florence Fails To Dampen West Virginia's Rise In The Polls

The West Virginia Mountaineers continue to climb in the polls following losses by the Wisconsin Badgers and Auburn Tigers. The Mountaineers are now 13th in the coaches poll. The AP Poll will be released at 2 pm.

The was uncertainity among fans about how Hurricane Florence and the cancellation of multiple games in the Carolinas would affect teams but so far voters are not holding one game out of twelve against teams.

Virginia Tech is continuing to benefit from its season opening win against a ranked Florida State squad that lost horribly to Syracuse this past weekend.
