West By Pod Virginia got its second major scoop of its short existence, and the place that broke Jevon Carter’s selection by Memphis spoke West Virginia’s 2019 entry into the Basketball Tournament into existence by yelling about it on a dumb podcast.
We’ll let John Flowers take it from here, and pick it up after the clip.
#TBT2018 isn't even over yet, but @jflow41 is already planning for 2019.

To the sadly uninitiated, The Basketball Tournament is a 64 team, winner take all, well, basketball tournament for a two million dollar pot. Teams are mostly voted in by fan groups, with a few remaining spots for at-large teams, so prepare to get your innate ability to win dumb interest polls to use, West Virginia fans.
The true joy of The Basketball Tournament is to see reunions of teams and players you loved and much more importantly, people that you hate. It is a year away, and I am already reveling in the opportunity to hand Aaron Craft and Eric Devendorf a few more Ls.
For the yet to be named West Virginia contingency, expect a good mix of both the Gen One and Press Virginia Bob Huggins teams, with a potential lineup looking something along the lines of this:
Juwan Staten
Jaysean Paige
Da’Sean Butler
Kevin Jones
Devin Williams
Tarik Phillip
John Flowers
Cam Thoroughman
Elijah Macon
Obviously, nothing is confirmed as far as roster placement, but look at that roster and tell me that you wouldn’t enjoy the hell out of seeing that team go head to head with some great talent that has come together to play basketball and talk shit to each other.
And, as always, remember that West By Pod Virginia spoke this into existence:
