Looks like the Texas Tech Red Raiders have themselves a secret weapon, and we should probably just cancel the season now

How do you stop a team with a 16-time World Champion on their side?

I’m not sure how or why this is a thing that exists, but Kliff Kingsbury has pulled out the heavy artillery for Texas Tech’s matchup with Ole Miss on September 1st. A video of Kingsbury and the Red Raiders hanging out with the GOAT - sixteen time World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair - just surfaced in which Flair issues a warning to the Rebels.

This is decidedly not good, y’all. If Flair continues to hang around Lubbock after Texas Tech’s opener, we need to put ourselves on high alert. It’s going to be tough to beat a team backed by The Dirtiest Player in the Game. I’m not sure if the Big 12 Conference is ready for the Rolex wearing, diamond ring wearing, kiss stealing, wheeling, dealing, limousine riding, jet flying Red Raiders.

Dusty Rhodes, unfortunately, ain’t walking through that door in Morgantown to give us the power of the common man.

(Yes, this article was just a vehicle for me to post the Hard Times promo. Deal with it.)
