If you’ve been paying attention to stupid stuff that’s trending online lately, you’re probably aware of the Shiggy Challenge. If not, I’ll try to explain it to you the best and as quick as I can: Drake released a song called “In My Feelings” off his newest album on June 29th. That same day, a social media comedian named Shiggy posted a video of himself dancing to the chorus and somehow it evolved into a viral sensation known as The Shiggy Challenge.
The video completely blew up and - as with most things of this nature - it didn’t take long for celebrities and pro athletes to jump on the Shiggy bandwagon. Everyone from Will Smith to Ciara and Russell Wilson to Odell Beckham Jr. to James Harden and even Drake himself have been filmed doing the dance.
On Thursday, the Shiggy Challenge made it’s way to the West Virginia football team. Fullback Logan Thimons posted a video of himself doing the dance while offensive lineman Chase Behrndt added some support from the hood of the Jeep in which they were riding.

I’ve gotta say Thimons has been a low-key treasure for Mountaineer fans. First he gives us this:
and now he drops this Shiggy goldmine on us. Thanks, Logan!
And before anyone gets mad and starts yelling at me to Stick To Sports™, you need to realize that we’re in the most boring college football offseason ever and it was either this or we wait for the West Virginia University police department to post a terrible video of themselves lip syncing to “Happy” while dancing their way down High Street.
