Proof that hard work pays off, the Memphis Grizzlies have inked Jevon Carter to a multi-year deal per NBA.com.

Carter, who was selected 32nd overall in the 2018 NBA Draft, has performed admirably in the Summer League. Carter got the “season” started with a familiar foe, former Oklahoma Sooners guard Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks. Carter showed his trademark tenacity in holding Young to an abysmal performance.

As the Summer League has continued, Carter has gotten better and better. Now with the tournament underway, Carter is showing the offensive side with a 19-point and 26-point outburst while adding rebounds, steals and blocks.

The terms of the deal are undisclosed as part of the Grizzlies team policy but now with a multi-year signed, Carter is one step closer to making his ultimate dream come true, playing in the NBA. Carter and the Grizzlies play tonight at 10 PM against Philadelphia in the next round of the Summer League.
