While the summer months may have just started, the football recruiting trail has long been heating up and that includes the West Virginia Mountaineers. Joe Wickline has now helped secure a massive body along the offensive line and he stole him right out of Virginia from Virginia Tech.
Donavan Beaver committed to the Mountaineers on Sunday, after spending time with the coaching staff during the weekend’s camps. The 6’6” - 275lb Fredericksburg, Virginia native plays for Massaponax High School, close to the DC Metro area where the Mountaineers have long made recent strides in recruiting. After Gary Jennings made a name for himself last year with Will Grier, and receiver Dillon Spalding committed to the Mountaineers last fall, the Mountaineers appear to be slowly building a pipeline into NOVA.
