West Virginia will host Buffalo as part of its 2018-19 non-conference schedule, per a source.

According to Twitter catchphrase robot Jon Rothstein, the West Virginia Mountaineers will play the Buffalo Bulls as part of their non-conference slate next season. The Mountaineers and Bulls first met in 2015 when #PressVirginia was just getting started. It was a kinder, gentler time for the Mountaineers. Jevon Carter was a freshman, Juwan Staten was the elder statesman. Bob Huggins was regaling us with stories about not having a rear-view mirror.
This time, the Mountaineers will be without the services of Jevon Carter and Daxter Miles. The Bulls on the other hand, are coming off their first ever NCAA tournament win, a 89-68 of #4 Arizona Wildcats.
The Bulls busted many brackets this year with their first-round upset of the Wildcats before then succumbing to the Kentucky Wildcats. Insert pun about catching the claws.
Buffalo returns all but two players from this years squad that went 27-9 and finished 1st in the Mid American Conference and winning the conference tournament.
