West Virginia University junior linebacker David Long Jr announced on Twitter this morning that he is foregoing his senior year of college ball to enter the 2019 NFL Draft.

Long was named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year this year after leading the conference in sacks and finishing second in total tackles. He finished the regular season with 97 total tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks and one fumble forced and recovered. The redshirt junior from Cincinnati led the team in all of those categories.

Long could be one of a slew of Mountaineers drafted in 2019, along with QB Will Grier and OL Yodney Cajuste from the offensive side.
