West Virginia is counting Cowan as part of the 2019 scholarship numbers, and announced him as part of the class on Wednesday morning.
The former four-star recruit from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida has been on campus since August, and practiced with the team all season. He will be eligible to play in 2019.
