Alston was originally a part of the East Carolina Pirates’ 2017 signing class, and broke into the Pirates’ two deep during his first spring camp before an injury pushed him out of the depth chart that summer. It was then that Alston decided to start looking at other opportunities, ultimately leading back to the West Virginia Mountaineers - a team that had also recruited him heavily out of high school.
Taijh will enroll in January, and will compete for a spot in the Mountaineers’ two-deep in the spring.
