The West Virginia Mountaineers moved back into the top ten after a dominating win against the Baylor Bears on Thursday night. The Mountaineers started slow, with only ten points before bursting at the seams and pouring on 31 points. The 44-point win was the largest in the history of the series between the ‘Eers and Bears.

Elsewhere, the Florida Gators and the Texas Longhorns lost, creating just enough space for the Mountaineers to move up. UCF, who is hoping to crash the College Football Playoffs, move up one spot to #9.

Oklahoma Sooners move up one spot to #7 while Texas falls to #15. The Sooners, ‘Eers and Longhorns remain the only Big 12 teams in the rankings.

No. 17 Texas A&M, No. 19 Wisconsin, No. 20 South Florida, No. 21 Oregon, No. 22 NC State, No. 23 Stanford, No. 25 Miami all fall out of the coaches rankings this week.
