West Virginia’s football game at Texas on Saturday, Nov. 3, could be at either 3:30, 7:15 or 8 p.m., and broadcast on either FOX or ESPN/ABC. The Big 12 Conference picked up the six-day window option for the game and will make a decision on Sunday, Oct. 28.
The @Big12Conference has announced a six day window has been exercised for Nov. 3 Texas game - kickoff times could be either 3:30 p.m. ET, 7:15 p.m. or 8 p.m. https://t.co/W4lf2qquLS

This decision signals the conference will likely want this to be its showcase game for week 10. That said, none of times and broadcasts for all Big 12 games in that week have been decided.
The Mountaineers (5-1, 3-1) and Longhorns (6-1, 4-0) are two of three teams battling for a spot in the Big 12 Football Championship and both teams are favorites to win their games in week nine.
This is pure speculation, but it’s possible ESPN’s College GameDay could be looking at Austin, Texas, as the location for its show on November 3, especially if these teams win this upcoming week.
WVU will have played two night games leading into this matchup in Austin, after hosting Baylor this Thursday night, and could be looking at three night kickoffs in a row. Now, Texas may historically be a less intimidating night-game atmosphere than Iowa State, but playing in front of 100,119 fans with the lights on is a huge stage for any team.
