Following their butt kicking at the hands of the Iowa St. Cyclones, the West Virginia Mountaineers fall from 6th to 13th in the USA Today Amway Coaches Poll.
Saturday, for the second time in two weeks saw eight different top 25 teams lose. This week four different top ten teams lost: #2 Georgia Bulldogs, #6 West Virginia, #7 Washington Huskies and #13 Penn State Nittany Lions.

West Virginia is #13 in the AP Poll as well, falling seven spots. The Big 12 has three teams in the top 13, Texas Longhorns move up to #7, Oklahoma Sooners move back into the top ten at #9 and WVU.
The two polls penalized the Washington Huskies the most, dropping them 10 in the AP and 7 spots in the coaches poll. Wisconsin fell nine spots in the coaches and 8 in the AP. N.C. State Wolfpack, WVU’s week three cancelled opponent, is now up to 15 in the AP and will look to break Clemson’s unbeaten record this coming weekend.
