Things weren’t all bad for West Virginia on Saturday evening. While the WVU men’s basketball team were taking on the Kentucky Wildcats in the Big 12/SEC Challenge, the West Virginia football coaching staff were busy closing the deal with an Martinsburg standout Dewayne Grantham during their first Junior day event of the year.
Grantham camped at West Virginia last summer for a 7-on-7 tournament, and picked up an offer before returning to the Eastern Panhandle. Grantham fits into that hybrid safety/outside linebacker mold that Mountaineer defensive coordinator has had a decent amount of success with.
